Were you disappointed when Hurricane Sandy washed out the 2012 CECA/CASL Conference? So were we. That’s why CASL and CLC are joining together to bring Connecticut’s school librarians the CASL/CLC Mini-Conference - the professional development and networking opportunity of the year! This is an excellent opportunity to catch up with your colleagues, learn about current and emerging issues in school libraries, share ideas, and hear about new products available for your media center. We hope to see you there!

Session topics include:
  • Conversations about Common Core and State Teacher Evaluations
  • L4L: Strategies for Success with Irene Kwidzinski
  • Heard Any Good Books Lately? with Cathy Andronik
  • Going Beyond the Book Talk with Sarah Ludwig
  • Is Independent Reading Obsolete? with Ginny Snowden
  • Nutmeg Book Award with Lisa Garofalo
  • 14 Things to Tame: Creating ongoing professional development for your faculty with Sara Kelley-Mudie

Online registration is now open!

$80.00 for staff of CLC member schools; $90.00 for non-members. Registration fee includes 1 year CASL membership (for new members), as well as continental breakfast and luncheon. See if your school is a CLC member.
